04/19/2020 - 420 Eve
Joined the 3rd annual Urban Siren Taurus Season poetry writing challenge on Instagram.
Finished the head-trip show Devs on Hulu. My mind naturally exploded and was then uploaded into a computer program.
Despite protesting a few weeks ago, this week more Amazon employees protest again, citing safety concerns.
04/202020 - 420 Day
Enjoyed a few puffs of zkittlez and lemon diesel. 😵😎
Got the munchies and made nachos, then watched the first episode of The Midnight Gospel on Netflix and It's a Disaster on Hulu.
Realized how weird everything is when the Governor Abbott of TX is easing up on stay-at-home restrictions (despite cases of COVID-19 continuing to rise), but everyone is now required to wear a mask/face covering while out at public areas in San Antonio.

Fifi the cat woke us up at 4:20am.
Despite the Gov of TX deciding to scale back some of the stay at home orders, another report came out suggesting that the peak for Coronavirus in Texas is still weeks away. It's going to be fine. Although, according to another article I found... "Five of the top 50 growth rate areas [of CVOD-19] are in Texas, a state that's pulling back on physical distancing." It's going to be so fine.
After encouraging older citizens to sacrifice their lives for the economy several weeks ago, the Lt. Gov of TX is at it again, this time saying that "there are more important things than living." Yikes!

Earth Day has been having an extended celebration since the coronavirus has taken the world hostage.
Of course the President of the United States would make an immigration shutdown a priority during a global pandemic.
Little does Trump realize that his immigration order may actually end up hurting Texas more than it helps... whoopsies!
According to the number crunches, less than half of American workers will receive a paycheck in the month of May. Not only that, but the U.S. economy has now lost all jobs gained since the 2009 recession. Well... shit.
Thanks to Gov'nah Abbott easing stay-at-home restrictions, San Antonio officials are (reluctantly?) creating a panel with officials who will help the city reopen, including two malls, kinda. Funny how malls and other distraction-type places are the first to open up.
The 45th president of the United States, who weeks earlier suggested he "had a natural ability for these things" because his uncle doctor taught at M.I.T, wondered if injecting disinfectant into the body was a good idea. I'll be glad to try it, but only if he tries it first.
The people of Texas are happy that at least Trump isn't giving their Governor the same confusing advice he's been sharing with Georgia's Governor.
Fifi the cat has developed a strange new habit of sticking her face in narrow vases we have laying around, confirming that she may in fact be an alien from another planet.
Work is still in an odd state of flux as some parts of the day see call volumes ease up for the first time in a month due to all the new people hired so far.
Calls included:
"The virus" might come back in the fall and be even more dangerous.
Trump vs. Cuomo.
Older people missing card games and other things like Mahjong or Bunko.
People bored and ready to see friends and family and do stuff.
Wearing masks or remember to wear your mask or watch out for fines if you don't wear the masks.
In states that are easing stay at home restrictions, older women are excited to go to salons and beauty parlors, even if it kills them or other people. Hooray?
Dis-mis-information
Everyone gets a stimulus check.. .except these people now. And also maybe these people.
If only we saw the coronavirus coming. (Hate to be the one to say it, but some people did see the pandemic coming.)
“The virus” is no work than the common flu (You wish).
Several times this week, Fifi the cat has been punked out by one (or several?) Blue Jay's, making her slightly hesitant to go outside on our patio when she wants to enjoy the sun, or poop in her litter bin.

Started working from home as Texas begins lifting stay at home restrictions. Fun.
