20 Gratitudes with Attitude in 2020: #13 of 20

I'm surprisingly grateful that my job has opened my eyes to the astonishing levels of cognitive dissonance many are comfortable living in, regardless if they’re the so-called ‘sheeple’ living in the system or ‘free spirits’ attempting to live off the grid. Perhaps some of it has to do with algorithms that currently run through our social, entertainment and news media lives, though I feel that shouldn’t excuse others who claim to be so smart yet don’t take the time to grow in both logical and emotional ways. But then again, I’m also grateful for the simple cognitive dissonance practice in which the goddess and I engage; washing all of our food and wiping down all our packaged groceries even though science says it’s rather unnecessary. Basically I’m saying I think our cognitive dissonance is better than the cognitive dissonance others practice. nbd.
