The week anxiously begins with me wondering if this is the last week I'll be doing the blog as Texas seeks to ease stay at home restrictions because Texas, like several other states have done such an amazing job at fighting off the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fifi the cat could care less.
Published another story on my other blog about the truth I've learned from conspiracy theories.
Despite San Antonio's legendary fiesta being postponed for the first time in history, some San Antonio residents still do what they can to bring some cheer and San Antonio spirit.
San Antonio city officials were slightly wary of Gov Abbott's stay at home orders at first, but feel confident they ended up finding a few work around, notably about the “mask policy.”
The Governor says San Antonio may have reached the peak already. Hooray? But the question is if we can really trust the motives of the Governor of Texas who picked as his Lt. Governor someone who appears to belong to a capitalist death cult.

Texas and several other states looking to partially ease stay at home orders say it's going to be fine, despite the sounds of health experts saying maybe not so much. Cool. Cool cool coooool.

President Trump wants governors to "seriously consider" opening schools before summer, though this the same guy that last weeks ago mused about injecting disinfectants into the body and that the coronavirus was no worse than the common cold, so maybe his judgement isn't the best when it comes to the safety and well-being of children.
I can't image why workers at many essential businesses wouldn't feel safe and would want to protest again this week. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
It's so totally fine.. . (sighs) No it's not. It's beginning to look like 2008 or worse all over again.
Speaking of haves and have nots, Erika Paradise and I finally finished binging the show “Succession” and did not see that end twist coming. Can't wait to see what happens when it comes back this year.. oh wait..
So some people (and city officials) want to reopen but don't want to take any of the responsibility for what happens if they reopen. Cool. Cool Cool.
Erika Paradise surprised me with the gift of a 16 oz jar of peanuts. But because I'm a monster, I finished the jar in like 2 days, if that.
Me, except with peanuts. Scared Rachel Ray = Erika Paradise.
Local Texas Grocery chain HEB announces they are easing up on their food restrictions ahead of Texas easing stay at home orders.
A day later local Texas grocery chain HEB calls an audible whoopsies.
Some states, including Texas are practically kinda sorta trying to force people back to work, threatening to rescind unemployment benefits to those not comfortable returning. Cause that seems totally fair.
Fifi the cat has begun taking to sleeping next to the toilet in the bathroom for some reason, not even budging when myself or Erika Paradise have to use said toilet.
Called my brother to wish him a happy birthday. One of the gifts I ordered for him arrived the day after, earlier than expected.
It's going to be totally fine for Texas partially easing stay at home orders on Friday, despite, according to one article, "Data suggesting] the state is doing less than half of its ideal projection of testing 40,000 people a day.”
Two days into slightly lessening the stay at home restrictions in Texas & it's not exactly going smoothly.
First full week of working from home was a full success. But…. See my IG for the full “but...”
Calls Include:
Ready for stay at home lock down quarentines to be over.
Looks like things are going to be over in "a few weeks."
Tired of the news being all negative &/or just about the coronavirus.
Don't go outside.
I don't go outside, but someone I know goes outside for me.
Dis-mis-information:
Trump cares about the people (But the math says otherwise).
If only we saw this coming. (SPOILERS: WE 👏 DID 👏 SEE 👏 IT 👏 COMING👏)
States like Texas that are easing stay at home restrictions are seeing a decline in CVOID-19 and are following the rules the Trump Admin have set for everyone. (HA! It would be great if they were, wouldn't it, especially when it comes to testing? Maybe they should listen to the Maryland governor?)
Trump is helping small business owners. (If one has a pretty wide definition of small business, sure. Like a really wide definition of small businesses).
It took the Governor or Texas a few days, but I'll be the first to admit Gov. Abbott did at least one thing right!
Despite not being allowed to open yet, a few salons in San Antonio have interesting ideas for when they are allowed to reopen.
For the first time in nearly 2 months, Erika Paradise and I are able to order our groceries from HEB for pickup instead of having to go in the store!
Erika Paradise and I have to go in the store anyway because we forgot to order a few more things.
Erika Paradise and her siblings are looking to spread a little mother's day cheer! Check out her IG page or deets!
