  • Maybe these Texas officials should chill out by taking in the state fair or something. Oh wait… never mind.

    • Well, there’s always Fiesta in November for the first time ever. Oh wait….

  • After last weeks breaking burger news, the famed Texas burger chain Whataburger continued making headlines this week by announcing it will remodel ALL of its buildings over the next few years into something a little less church-y and a little more modern looking.

  • A couple weeks ago the darling Erika Paradise, being the ingenious life-hacker that she is, created a small hanging bird feeder using only some string and a tiny plate. She also put out a porcupine shaped bowl with some bird seed in it as well, but was ready to take it all down due to lack of interest from birds. But this week changed her mind after some birdbrained pigeons and baby blue jay’s began enjoying the bountiful bird seed that she laid out. Hooray!

  • Erika Paradise and myself have come to the conclusion that Fifi the cat prefers a little noise in the condo at almost all times, regardless if it us catching up with HBO’s Westworld or the sounds of smooth jazz reverberating from our Echo Show. This is because Fifi is a simple cat with complicated anxiety.

    • In case anyone was curious, Fifi the cat doesn’t give a shit about the birds.

  • Work this week saw some major news, in that due to a miscommunication between management and the training team, many in the training department will essentially be demoted should they not feel comfortable coming into work. While myself and others do work from home a majority of the time, due to certain regulations those working in training are required to work in the office on our assigned days. But because of this small snafu, the training department will be understaffed in the near future, meaning those of us left will be required to come into the office at least more than 2 days a week.

    • As far as I’ve been told, this should not impact me as this is more of a morning shift problem, as I work the night shifts. But we will see. I’m holding my breath for the other shoe to drop and shit to hit the fan, maybe at the same time.

  • In addition global pandemic, most of the southwest, including Texas began feeling the sizzle of a massive heat wave during the end of the week that will stretch into the next. Maybe we can finally test theory of our stable genius president (who has a natural ability for these things) that the heat and sunlight kill the coronavrus.
